Cardiology Unit 1 is one of the most advanced in Kazakhstan thanks to experienced and highly professional doctors who successfully put into practice all technical and laboratory and instrumental achievements in cardiology. The Unit prepares patients for surgical intervention on the heart, coronary angiography, implantation of auxiliary devices, denervation of the renal artery, etc.
The main areas of work of the cardiology unit:
- examination and treatment of patients with chronic stable forms of coronary heart disease, acquired heart defects, cardiomyopathies using the most modern methods of cardiac rehabilitation, including enhanced external counterpulsation, shock wave therapy;
- treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction, progressive angina pectoris, including the use of emergency coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty and coronary artery stenting;
- preparation and implementation of endovascular surgical interventions: balloon angioplasty and coronary artery stenting;
- preparation of patients for aorto-coronary bypass surgery; • preparation of patients for surgery on implantation of auxiliary circulation devices; • diagnosis, examination and treatment of patients with hypertension, symptomatic arterial hypertension;
- examination and treatment of patients with various cardiac arrhythmias, including emergency or planned rhythm restoration;
- examination and treatment of patients with chronic heart failure;
- examination and treatment of patients with congenital and acquired heart defects, preparation for surgery;
- examination and treatment of patients with diseases of the endocardium, myocardium, pericardium, cardiomyopathy.
