The operational ward with the auxiliary blood circulation laboratory provides specialized and highly specialized medical care to the population in the field of cardiac surgery.
The main tasks of the Unit:
1) coordination of the operational process between cardiac surgery units, organization of continuous functioning;
2) organization and provision of highly qualified planned and emergency surgical care to the population with heart diseases;
3) implementation by the staff of the unit of a set of measures for the prevention and prevention of nosocomial infection and postoperative purulent-septic complications;
4) performing artificial blood circulation during cardiac surgery on the heart and main vessels;
5) organization and maintenance of auxiliary blood circulation in patients with acute cardiovascular insufficiency in the early postoperative period;
6) collection, processing and autologous blood transfusion during cardiac surgery.
Functions of the Unit:

1) provision of specialized and highly qualified cardiac surgical care to the population, taking into account the requirements of current regulatory legal acts, internal documents of the Center and international standards;
2) participation in scientific research, generalization of clinical and scientific data in order to develop new methods of providing specialized and highly qualified medical care;
3) participation in the development and improvement of the regulatory framework of the healthcare industry on issues of medical and diagnostic assistance to the population in the field of extracorporeal circulation;
4) participation in the implementation of advanced medical technologies, international quality and safety standards within the framework of international JCI accreditation.
